Aloha! I’m Jonathan, and I’m blessed to be a photographer based on the beautiful island of Kauai in Hawaii.
Having grown up in the beach town of Hanalei, I spent nearly every waking moment swimming, kayaking, fishing, or diving. Later down the road, I took up cycling; and have explored, among other cities, Shanghai, New York, Buenos Aires, and Rome atop a bike saddle. After graduating from the University of Hawaii at Hilo in 2010, I cycled from the California coast to Virginia Beach in a fundraising effort for the International Justice Mission. My passion for Brazilian Jiu Jitsu brought me to Rio De Janeiro in 2010 where I donned my newly obtained black belt against local competitors. Most recently I finds my time spent either behind a camera viewfinder or surfing the perfect waves of Kauai’s North Shore.
As an avid outdoorsman, lifelong storyteller, and veteran of the wedding industry, I possess the perfect skillset for visualizing, capturing, and presenting the most precious moments of a couple’s most special day. Holding marriage in the highest esteem; I take my work very seriously; altogether without sacrificing my fun and energetic personality. I insure nothing but the highest quality and care in my work.

Ted was offered a full ride scholarship from the prestigious Art Institute … however Ted decided to study Fine Art at a local Collage noted to have one of best Art departments in the country. Ted matured as a fine art painter with numerous awards and collectors investing in his work. To further his talents Ted was encouraged by his professors to study the classical masters in Europe. Documenting his travels and adventurers with the medium of photography is were his romance with photography began. Ted’s talents immersed him head on into a career as a photojournalist, commercial, fashion and fine art photographer. To his accolade Ted’s work has been published in Harper’s Bazaar, Vanity Fair, Cosmopolitan, Women’s Wear Daily, Family Circle, Billboard, Gig, Men’s Journal,Outside, Islands Magazine, Brides and Bridal Magazine, among others.

We built this website from an experienced vendor perspective, for both engaged couples and wedding professionals. Our intention is to simplify a couple’s search for their ideal wedding needs, as well as offer wedding businesses an affordable, easy to manage listing to showcase their services. We believe our platform is beneficial to the local community and all facets of the wedding industry.
Getting Acquainted With Our Site
On our Home Page you will find a random selection of businesses throughout the Hawaiian Islands.
The left sidebar contains Wedding Events; all upcoming Bridal Shows/Expos, Trunk Shows, Venue Open Houses, as well as Wedding Industry Mixers. Below this, you will find all Wedding Services listed by category.
Once a category in Wedding Services is selected, you will find several filters on the left side of the page. You can search by region or county as well as several other filters which are specific to that vendor category. By checking multiple boxes in these filters, couples are able to narrow their search results to align with their specific needs by location, price, services offered, etc.
Pages where you find multiple listings, referred to as the grid – are set to display relevant information at a glance. Selecting a specific business will take you to their details page.

Kimberly Hope is an accomplished and professional violinist, music teacher and composer from Kauai, Hawaii. Because her expressive and dynamic playing touches the hearts of countless audiences, she has been invited to perform at events all over Hawaii, such as concerts, fashion shows, county fairs, benefits, and fundraisers. In addition to these larger events, she enjoys entertaining at weddings, art walks, farmer’s markets, shopping malls, schools, restaurants, hospitals, and nursing homes. She has also performed alongside Grammy-nominated and Na Hoku Hanohano award-winning Hawaiian bands, Broadway stars, world-renowned pianists, and local Hawaiian slack key legends.
Kimberly began playing the violin at the age of ten in St. Louis, Missouri. Upon moving to Kauai in 2008, she continued playing in several orchestras and small chamber ensembles throughout high school. After graduating in 2013, she attended The College of Wooster in Wooster, Ohio. There, she served as concertmaster of the Wooster Symphony Orchestra and received her Bachelor of Music Degree in Violin Performance
